I grew up dancing, spending a large amount of my youth in a dance studio. Dance is where my passion for moving my body all started. I studied dance professionally for 2 years in Melbourne, this is where I learnt a lot about myself and it also taught me many hard lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. I studied and obtained my Diploma of Dance, as well as a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management while in Melbourne. My dream at the time was to work on cruise ships or back-up dancing after I finished my course. However, I knew that my full potential was not yet recognised and that I was destined for something else other than dance.

This led me to begin my fitness journey and find my true purpose in life. I realised that fitness sparked a fire inside of me that I never knew I had. I wanted to help people find that same spark that I found when I first started in the gym. This is why I decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry. So I left Melbourne after finishing my course to move back home to Canberra. I then studied my Certificate III and IV in fitness with the Australian Institute of Fitness.

The enjoyment I get from training is unmatched. People probably think I am a little crazy as my second home is the gym. Over the years, I have tried many different styles of training. I actually began my own personal fitness journey in the gym doing Group Fitness classes with my Mum on my school holidays. After gaining my fitness qualifications, I also obtained my Les Mills Bodypump, Bodybalance, Les Mills Core, and RPM qualifications. I can thank my Mum for inspiring me to teach others!
 
I recently found my love of bodybuilding and really sculpting the body to enhance a person’s shape. My own competing journey has only just begun, and I would love to help others discover things about themselves that they never imagined they could do. Whether that be stepping out on stage, or just stepping out of the house with confidence. My second time on stage I actually prepped myself and created my own posing routine! This is what made me realise I wanted to help prep others passionate about bodybuilding.

I invest a lot of my time into learning and educating myself in relation to fitness, nutrition and health. You will usually always find me studying or increasing my education in my spare time. Unless I am spending time with my family, friends or beautiful pup Lily. Because of my love for study, I have gained additional qualifications in Vinyasa Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Reformer Pilates. I have also studied Nutrition, both for the general population and Sports Nutrition.

 

All of my knowledge and experience I bring into my training programs and nutrition protocols for my clients.

What I love the most about fitness and nutrition is that you are constantly learning and evolving. The body is a wonderful thing, and you should treat it with the utmost care and love.


In my heart, I know that this is what I was meant to do. I love helping people learn how to move their bodies in different ways, as well as fuelling their bodies in all the right ways without sacrificing the foods they love. I want nothing more than to help people gain confidence both in and out of the gym. Your health is so important as we only get one body, and I believe in investing in your health and fitness, as it is one of the best investments you will ever make!

My  Passion

My vision for Kaitlyn Marie Fitness is to help people become the best version of themselves. Helping them find more confidence, while improving their fitness, nutrition, mindset and overall health. I also want women to know that being strong and feminine is achievable. Helping women to realise that lifting heavy in a strategic way actually allows you to sculpt the body and create those curves. You can have both! You can be strong and you can be feminine!
